Hail the Conquering Hero

Red Velvet

You know you’re on to something when half the people that walk by go “whaaaa?”, and the other half go “OMG!” Last weekend was the formal unveiling of our Red Velvet cupcake. Rich chocolatey cake with a touch of vinegar, and our killer cream cheese frosting, topped with some classy sugar crystals. You’ll notice in the table picture below, taken during the market setup, that we’d already sold 3 of the darned things before we were even open.

Currently my personal favorite.
